The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) launches ‘SATHEE SSC’ platform to provide coaching to the aspirants preparing for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations.
This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Education reflecting a strong commitment to provide affordable and quality training to aspirants or students, especially those from economically weaker backgrounds, ensuring they have access to the same level of preparation as their peers, an IIT Kanpur statement said.
The SATHEE SSC platform will offer range of study materials, practice tests, video lectures, and interactive sessions with experienced educators. By leveraging technology and expertise, SATHEE aims to make SSC exam preparation more accessible and effective to all aspirants and students. On the launch of SATHEE SSC, Professor Manindra Agrawal, IIT Kanpur director emphasised the initiative’s alignment with the National Educational Policy 2020 goals by saying: “With the launch of SATHEE SSC, we are expanding our commitment to making premier education accessible to all. This initiative is a step forward in harnessing technology to empower students across India, preparing them not just for exams, but for a brighter future.”
According to IIT Kanpur, SATHEE has launched the course and study material for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and will be expanding its offerings to include other exams under the SSC category. Aspirants can register for SATHEE SSC through the sathee.iitk.ac.in or by downloading the SATHEE app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Further, Prof. Amey Karkare, principal investigator of the project stated, “Integrating AI-enabled tutoring system into SATHEE SSC allows us to offer a personalized learning experience that adapts to individual student needs.”
