The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) has launched the ‘SATHEE SSC’ platform to provide coaching to candidates preparing for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams.
This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Education, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing affordable and high-quality training to aspirants or students, particularly those from economically weaker backgrounds, ensuring they receive the same level of preparation as their peers, according to an IIT Kanpur statement.
The SATHEE SSC site will feature a variety of study resources, practice tests, video lectures, and interactive sessions with qualified educators. By combining technology and knowledge, SATHEE hopes to make SSC exam preparation more accessible and effective for all candidates and students.
On the launch of SATHEE SSC, Professor Manindra Agrawal, IIT Kanpur director emphasised the initiative’s alignment with the National Educational Policy 2020 goals by saying: “With the launch of SATHEE SSC, we are expanding our commitment to making premier education accessible to all. This initiative is a step forward in harnessing technology to empower students across India, preparing them not just for exams, but for a brighter future.”
According to IIT Kanpur, SATHEE has started the course and study materials for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and plans to expand its offerings to cover additional SSC-related exams. Aspirants can register for the SATHEE SSC at sathee.iitk.ac.in or by downloading the SATHEE app from the App Store or Google Play.
Further, Professor Amey Karkare, principal investigator of the project stated, “Integrating AI-enabled tutoring system into SATHEE SSC allows us to offer a personalized learning experience that adapts to individual student needs.”
