Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Preparation
PET Requirements (Male Candidates)
- 100 meters race: 16 seconds
- 1.6 km race: 6.5 minutes
- Long jump: 3.65 meters (3 chances)
- High jump: 1.2 meters (3 chances)
- Shot put (16 lbs): 4.5 meters
PET Requirements (Female Candidates)
- 100 meters race: 18 seconds
- 800 meters race: 4 minutes
- Long jump: 2.7 meters (3 chances)
- High jump: 0.9 meters (3 chances)
Physical Standards
- Male Height: Minimum 170 cm (165 cm for ST)
- Chest: Minimum 81 cm (expanded 85 cm)
- Female Height: Minimum 157 cm (154 cm for ST)
Daily Study Schedule
Morning Session (2.5 hours):
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs (1 hour)
- Break (15 minutes)
- Reasoning Practice (1 hour 15 minutes)
Afternoon Session (2.5 hours):
- Quantitative Aptitude (1.5 hours)
